I would like to thank you and your team for the completion of an excellent painting job. My project consisted having the complete interior of my town home painted, ceiling, walls, trim and closets. The entire process from the initial estimate to the final walk through was painless and very professional. Dagobarto (D2) and Jose were outstanding. I met with them every morning to 'check-in' and review the progress of the project. They were always on-time and very courteous. D2 and Jose provided excellent service in terms resolving any items I brought to their attention or answering any questions I had about the project. The work area was always cleaned up daily and as each room was completed a final cleaning was done. They both paid special attention to details, especially in repairing the holes in the drywall as well as the metal front door.

The three man crew removed extensive amounts of wallpaper and prepared walls and ceilings for painting. The most concern I had was their ability to remove the wallpaper without damaging the underlying sheetrock paper. They did it carefully and with no damage. They painted close to 60 percent of the house. They repaired nail pops and any other nicks or blemishes in the sheet rock. They got an extensive job done in 4 days. They even took the initiative to repaint trim in certain areas. Very nice touch on their part.
I could set my watch by their timeliness. They were courteous and responsive to any request I had to attend to an area of concern, e.g., correct a slight imperfection in an original sheet rock seam. Also, very important to me, is the carefulness and cleanliness of the work processes. The guys were extremely attentive to putting catch mats down in all places and in how they managed paint preparation and stowage of materials and tools at the end of the day.
The job looks beautiful. This is the second time I have used Williams Professional Painting and, in fact, just called them for a minor repair in a ceiling that I just noticed.

I have used Williams for painting and carpentry on numerous occasions and have found them to be invariably professional, friendly and totally dedicated to assure you are content with their work. I highly recommend them!!

I am very pleased with the quality of workmanship and the courteousness of your painting crew. Adalberto and Enrique are true professionals and they worked together as a team. They covered all our cabinets, countertops, and appliances before they began to paint. They were careful with our drapes, valences, and furniture as they put them in the living room before painting. Each afternoon they returned our chairs, end tables, and lights to the family room so we could be comfortable for the evening. Lisa will confirm that the rooms look great.
Speaking of Lisa, she is a wonderful addition to your team. I do not have a color eye and she was patient and respectful as she explained to me the best color choices and why she chose them. When I was unsure of my final selection, she brought additional shades in the same color family and painted samples on both the kitchen wall and the family room wall. I had Ricardo, Salas and Cesar plus a couple of other guys work on my son's house. They did an excellent job and worked very hard throughout the project. The foreman(Ricardo, I think) kept me abreast of the progress throughout while I was at the house. The paint job is excellent.

Jose and I did not communicate well during the estimation process. The estimate that I received was not the total amount (excluding additional carpentry work needed) I expected it to be. I was shocked when I saw the final bill. The terms of agreement also showed that I would receive two coats and I did not. I was told that was only true for the pvc boards and door, that the paint was so good in covering that I did not need two coats. When I asked the foreman(Ricardo, I think) about painting the mullions he said they normally do not do those. I told him to call Jose and Jose confirmed that they would be done. So, the job was excellent but the estimation process did not go well. I'm sorry about this because Jose is a very nice guy and I enjoyed working with him, and he was concerned and respectful. I was told that Williams would replace two facial boards that go on the roof area free of cost. Thank you very much.

Overall, what is most important is that you did a great job and treated me respectfully and the job diligently. I hope the same can be said for me.

Please take special note that all the painters on my job worked hard and diligently throughout.

This past Friday, March 29, 2013, Williams Professional Painting concluded their work on the interior of our building and the final check has been issued under the contract into which we entered back in February 2012. For purposes of your records and knowing what paint was used, please be advised we used Benjamin Moore “Pale Oak” on the first floor and a custom blend we titled “Nimbus 50%” for floors 2-roof vestibule, also manufactured by Benjamin Moore. Due in part to circumstances beyond our control, the project took longer than expected, but was well worth the wait considering the following five factors that help demonstrate the extra value we received under this contract:

• the paint class was upgraded to “Aura,” the highest quality available, and wallpaper areas addressed twice, at no extra cost to the Association;
• the painters worked quietly and on weekends, and Dave Williams even placed himself in harm’s way by photographing an intruder and likely criminal;
• Dave Williams and his painting staff were professional at all times and exhibited extraordinary amounts of patience in addressing our every concern;
• Dave Williams acted as a consultant during the paint selection phase and accommodated our many requests to test a multitude of paint samples; and
• Williams Professional Painting made an inordinate amount of extra trips to our property, which costs the firm time and money, in order to accommodate our preferences, coordinate with our redesign schedule, and paint, repaint and caulk several areas outside the contract scope at no charge to the Association because he was not satisfied.

Given the high level of commitment Williams Professional Painting made to our property, it was considerably important – and fair – that this extra information be imparted to you. The Board anticipates budgeting for “upkeep” painting to keep the common elements as pristine as they look now. While the Board cannot offer an endorsement of a particular contractor to you, I have personally been impressed enough by the perfectionist efforts of Williams Professional Painting to retain them in the near future to paint my private residence and therefore have copied Dave Williams on this message in case you wish to consider him for the same. Although Williams Professional Painting will not be able to offer us a viable solution to paint the exterior elevator doors and entryway cladding on floors 2 – roof vestibule, the Board is engaged in discussions with an elevator specialist who purportedly has the technology to make those surfaces more receptive to paint engineered just to adhere to those challenging types of entryways.

They have painted my church. They have painted my house. They have painted more property than anyone else I know. Williams Professional Painting is a very good firm to deal with and they provide excellent service.

Your company recently repaired the ceiling and painted a bedroom in my mother's house in Arlington. Dagoberto was the foreman and I want to commend him highly for his work. He is a careful and hard worker, paying attention to every detail, including cleanliness. We are very pleased with the quality of his work; you are fortunate to have such an excellent and dedicated worker.

In December 2014, I arranged for a sizable interior painting project with your company. This was the fourth time that Williams Professional Painting would undertake a job in my home. This recent experience has been completed and was truly an outstanding display of workmanship with the total job a resounding success.

Mr. Rick Williams provided the initial project assessment and estimate which included 3 bedrooms, an office/study, entry foyer, hallway and staircase. As colors were planned to change, Rick suggested we hire Lisa Reyes, your professional interior designer. Lisa came to visualize the planned project and listened to our color ideas and preferences for each room and then brought out her myriad color palates to narrow the selections. Lisa was a sure help! She offered great ideas and suggestions for colors and applications, so that all parties were confident that the right colors were chosen for each location. To assure these selections, Lisa created a 12 by 12 inch sample of each color at her Williams paint studio and then returned for viewing on each wall. Colors were spot on and the project was a go! Shortly thereafter, Lisa called and provided the official start date, time and project manager’s name.

On start date, Bryan and Dagoberto “D2” arrived, introduced themselves and set to work. These two workmen arrived each day on time, even during an icy weather morning, reviewed their plan for the day and set to accomplishing the task. In addition to routine company policy of removing and patching picture hooks, covering all the floors and moving and covering all the furniture, Bryan and D2 showed thorough attention to small details (as removing all switch plates, socket plates, and door knobs prior to painting and then reinstalling); saving all the old picture hangars, and safeguarding some small items. One ceiling area near a skylight required drywall repair. Again D2 showed his craftsmanship with amazing results. You would never realize a repair was there.

Seeing the daily fantastic results and how fresh everything looked resulted in adding another area for painting. While Lisa was on site to see the progress, we asked if a second staircase could be added to this project. She immediately contacted Bryan and D2 to determine if there was sufficient paint and then contacted Rick for a price estimate. All was a go again, and are we ever glad that this added area was able to be painted. What a finishing touch!

Overall, Williams Professional Painting remains one of metro D.C.’s true treasures. Each day allowed us to experience painting expertise; daily work team communication and plan for the next day was appreciated and left no guesswork. Finally, it was such fun to see the painter’s satisfaction in our positive reactions. As repeat customers, the entire Williams’ enterprise is professional, reliable, personable, and thorough and will continue to be my ‘painter of choice’ and the only one I will recommend. It was a job made up of many little jobs and that’s sometimes hard to organize, but he did it! He had creative ideas when there were challenges and he always completed the project.

They did an absolutely outstanding job. From the first day they came out here to look at what needed to be done, Rick Williams explained everything to me. He quoted a price to have the exterior of my home painted. He said they'd also do my mailbox, a shed, the post of a railing, as well as the shutters. They did everything. The two individuals who worked on the house, Luis and Jorge, were superb. They were so professional and always turned up on time. They were very clean. I never knew they were even here with how clean they were. Whenever I had any questions and needed to call, Rick answered or got back to me as quickly as possible. They're attitudes were lovely. I don't give high remarks to anyone that doesn't deserve it, but I can't speak highly enough about Williams Professional Painting.

Once again terrific company to work with. Got work done sooner than expected and it was a beautiful job. After ceilings and walls got holes cut in them for new lights and a wall mounted tv, Jose came back and patched and painted. This is my second time to call on Williams for painting at my condo. I researched carefully the first time and chose Williams due to the many wonderful personal endorsements and the recommendations by professional publications/institutions.

Just like the first time, the job was very professional from the person who came to do the estimate to the painters who actually did the job---Ricardo Salas and Cristian. They painted my bedroom--walls, trim, ceiling and patched a corner wall in the living room -- everything looks great --a very professional job. And, other than the beautiful new bedroom I have and the smell of new paint I would not even know they had been in my house.
