Dear Mr. Williams,

In December 2014, I arranged for a sizable interior painting project with your company. This was the fourth time that Williams Professional Painting would undertake a job in my home. This recent experience has been completed and was truly an outstanding display of workmanship with the total job a resounding success.

Mr. Rick Williams provided the initial project assessment and estimate which included 3 bedrooms, an office/study, entry foyer, hallway and staircase. As colors were planned to change, Rick suggested we hire Lisa Reyes, your professional interior designer. Lisa came to visualize the planned project and listened to our color ideas and preferences for each room and then brought out her myriad color palates to narrow the selections. Lisa was a sure help! She offered great ideas and suggestions for colors and applications, so that all parties were confident that the right colors were chosen for each location. To assure these selections, Lisa created a 12 by 12 inch sample of each color at her Williams paint studio and then returned for viewing on each wall. Colors were spot on and the project was a go! Shortly thereafter, Lisa called and provided the official start date, time and project manager’s name.

On start date, Bryan and Dagoberto “D2” arrived, introduced themselves and set to work. These two workmen arrived each day on time, even during an icy weather morning, reviewed their plan for the day and set to accomplishing the task. In addition to routine company policy of removing and patching picture hooks, covering all the floors and moving and covering all the furniture, Bryan and D2 showed thorough attention to small details (as removing all switch plates, socket plates, and door knobs prior to painting and then reinstalling); saving all the old picture hangars, and safeguarding some small items. One ceiling area near a skylight required drywall repair. Again D2 showed his craftsmanship with amazing results. You would never realize a repair was there.

Seeing the daily fantastic results and how fresh everything looked resulted in adding another area for painting. While Lisa was on site to see the progress, we asked if a second staircase could be added to this project. She immediately contacted Bryan and D2 to determine if there was sufficient paint and then contacted Rick for a price estimate. All was a go again, and are we ever glad that this added area was able to be painted. What a finishing touch!

Overall, Williams Professional Painting remains one of metro D.C.’s true treasures. Each day allowed us to experience painting expertise; daily work team communication and plan for the next day was appreciated and left no guesswork. Finally, it was such fun to see the painter’s satisfaction in our positive reactions. As repeat customers, the entire Williams’ enterprise is professional, reliable, personable, and thorough and will continue to be my ‘painter of choice’ and the only one I will recommend. These guys are simply the best. They did work all over the house, recaulking a tub, dealing with water damage, rebuilding a ceiling over two attached rooms - i.e. not a terribly simple or quick job. They took their time, worried about the details, and ended up doing a flawless Job. Cristian, the Foreman, was lovely, touching base at the beginning and end of each day, staying on top of everything. I would use these guys again and again.

Juan recently did carpentry and painting work for me for the over-hang above my front door. Rain had rotted the top of the over-hang. When Juan started the job, he realized it was rotten to a much greater extent than had been planned.

He had to completely redo the top of the over-hang and take off a facade above it.

He was thorough, courteous, timely, and overall a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend your company to my neighbors because Juan did such a fabulous job.

Williams Prof Painting did a great job on our huge 2-story windows and walls in our family room. When Rick came to do an estimate, he assured me they do this kind of work all the time, and they take great pride in their work. I didn't actually get any work done by Williams because my timeline would not work with the schedule but they actually sent me an email to let me know that they would have to decline the opportunity to work on my project. This is the first time I've ever received such a courtesy from contractors in the home improvement business, and I cannot express how wonderfully professional this is. I have had far too many experiences of contractors coming out to estimate, only to never contact me again, or to go through the trouble of sending me a quote and then never actually schedule the work.

While I did find someone who was able to do the work I requested in my short time frame, in the future, I will definitely contact Williams again for a bid. Just this email was enough to tell me about the company culture here, and I have great confidence in their professionalism.

Dagoberto, Fidel, and “D2” performed extensive work on the exterior of my house from May 25 through May 27. They power washed the exterior, replaced wood trim with PVC, and painted the exterior. They also repaired drywall in my den, and painted that wall.

They did an outstanding job! I will be sure to recommend Williams Professional Painting to my friends and neighbors, and as the need arises in the future I intend to use Williams.

Dear Williams family,

We needed an experienced company to paint the interior of our 2200 sq. ft. 1948 brick rambler. The walls and ceilings in the original part of the house are plaster on wood lathe. During its 65+ years, the walls and ceilings were showing cracks suffered from settling, earthquake, and a mediocre paint job done by someone else 10 years ago requiring more prep time than the 1990-91 addition (drywall and wallpaper to be removed).

Once we decided that we were ready to have the house painted, we began interviewing painting companies and chose Williams Professional Painting for reasons both tangible and intangible.

A work colleague had recommended them based on their results on the exterior painting of their home.

We attended a complimentary paint consultation seminar hosted at Williams’ plant. Attendees included real estate agents, previous clients, and potential new business opportunities like us. The class was conducted by an experienced painting and color design consultant.

The plant was clean, well-stocked, and well-organized with paints and paint samples, ladders, and drop clothes for pending jobs. It was there that we met the Williams family. We knew that we could trust this family to do the job right.

Rick, the owner’s son, inspected our home twice to gauge the amount and type of work required. He then decided which of his crews had the mix of skills required to perform the job. Our crew foreman was Jose G., and the team included Ricardo, Jaime, Jhoiner, Marvin, and Dagoberto.

They did all the big and little things right, such as the following:

The crew was punctual starting every day at 7:30 AM. They worked the entire day of the mid-January snow storm and appeared the day after that storm at the same 7:30 AM starting time. They worked the entire day breaking only for a brief lunch, which they ate on the premises. They concentrated on their tasks throughout the days. They took extra care protecting our belongings including babysitting the 2 dogs if they got out. They were conscientious when it came to keeping the outside gates closed so there would be no runaway dogs. They asked us clarifying questions if there ever was the possibility of doubt. There was never any sense that any of the valuables in the house were in any jeopardy. At the end of every day, they cleaned their tools and carefully vacuumed our rugs and floors. They left the house spotless. They organized, consolidated, and covered with a tarp all of their materials and equipment in a central area that was the least intrusive to our family and pets. They offered a touch-up visit if needed before we put the house up for sale in 2015.
The crew from Williams Professional Painting made the paint project as painless for us as possible. As we told the crew, they made the house beautiful. The repair s and preparation work were superb. They know their profession and are craftsmen. We thanked them very much, and told them that they made our home beautiful. No one could have done a better job than they did.
