Exterior House Painter in Fairfax, Virginia

Owning a home here in Fairfax, Virginia is a great privilege, with many joys and benefits that come with it. On the other hand, it also comes with maintenance and responsibilities, exterior painting being one of them. Thankfully, exterior painting is a responsibility that can enhance the enjoyment you find in home ownership!

What are some of the benefits of exterior house painting in Fairfax? Let's take a look at a few.

Make Your Dwelling Your Home

A house is just a box you live in, until you get the chance to personalize it, making it reflect the character and interests of those who live there. When you paint the exterior of your home, you get the chance to express your style and show the world something of what makes your household unique. The creative process that goes into exterior painting, landscaping and decorating is exciting and satisfying!

Surround Yourself with Beauty

As you paint the exterior of your house, you add color and style to your days. Whether it is that delicious moment of coming home from work, or those precious times when you step outside on a lovely weekend morning, the beauty of your home exterior is something to savor.

Protect Your Home from Deterioration

While a thin film of exterior house paint might not seem like a powerful protective force, it actually provides a significant shield against the sunlight, rain, humidity, ice, and insects that would otherwise degrade the structure of your home. With properly maintained exterior paint, your home will resist the forces of nature that our Fairfax summers and winters throw at us.

Invest in Your Home's Value

When you put your Fairfax home on the market, the appearance of the exterior paint is one of the first things a potential buyer will notice. By keeping your exterior house paint fresh and attractive, you invest in the selling potential of your home, increasing the likelihood of an advantageous sale.

Our Happy Customers

Your team was very professional and responsible.

Rick – I wanted to thank you and your team for the fine work that they did on the exterior and interior of my home. I am very pleased with the work, and I am happy that I used your firm. I plan to replace the set of wooden steps at my home’s back entrance sometime in the next year or so, and when I do, I will certainly contact Williams about an estimate. Your team was very professional and responsible, and I would be happy to have them work on my home again.

Many Thanks for The Great work

Hi David: Many thanks for the great work done by your workers in painting the narthex of First Presbyterian Church.

The narthex looked so good that it made the connecting areas cry out for attention.

"I have never had someone work in my home that was so respectful..."

This review is for the work that Franklin did at our home. He is not just an amazing painter, but he is an amazing man. I have never had someone work in my home that was so respectful, so honest and so hardworking. He brought everything to our attention so that we could make decisions and therefore we NEVER had a problem. His attention to detail and customer satisfaction was phenomenal! I own two companies and Franklin is the type of man that I would want working for me in a top level position. We are beyond pleased with his work. You are lucky to have a man like him with your company. He is priceless!! Franklin is the reason we hired Williams Professional Painting this second time. His work last year at our home was just as good! And we wanted the best again. He is always welcome in our home.

Sincerely,

Professional Interior Painting In Alexandria, Virginia

Ricardo and Pablo painted my master bedroom suite consisting of the bedroom, bathroom, and 2 walk-in closets. Ricardo was the foreman on a job in our house last year and he did a wonderful job; they did the whole basement. Because he did such a good job we requested him by name to do our master suite. Again, he did not disappointment us. The finished work is perfect, he does the best cut-in of any painter I have seen. My wife and I are both Realtors here, we see a lot of houses, and the quality of Ricardo's work is far better than most homes we see. He is courteous, respectful, works hard, takes extreme pride in his work, has a great attitude, is punctual and precise in his work. Clone him!!!

I copied my wife on the email so she can see the comments.

Warm Regards,

David

We'd like to offer a HUGE thank-you to Debbie Miller at Move or Improve? for taking the time to share her experience. It's a privilege to be part of her trusted network of contractors.

Your team finished yesterday and did a wonderful job.

Your team finished yesterday and did a wonderful job. I spoke with someone on your staff yesterday and asked for the final invoice to be sent to this e-mail address which goes to my home. I will pay with a personal check to avoid your having to pay fees. I believe you had 3 folks on your team working here and I want to include in my letter some cash to give them.

I really enjoyed meeting with you on this job. I am totally delighted with the work and the Patio Room surround with the plastic wood protecting the bottom edge is both well done and eye-catchingly attractive.

Please pass on my 'well done' to your crew and take a lot of that 'well done' for yourself. You made me feel confident that you had the job well in hand which is just as essential as the actual performance of the work.

Regards,

Hugh McKay

Interior Painting Project

Bryan Pinto, one of William's foremen, and his team showed up early the first day and performed their work with efficiency and care. The team finished the job promptly and did excellent work, carefully executing detailed carpentry work on crown trim and painting as high as the peak of our four story town-home. Very impressed with their work and would hire again.

A Superior Operation

"A superior operation. On the expensive side, but worth it for us."

You must be very proud to have them on your staff.

Your team supplied wonderful service to us in painting seven rooms, foyer, and two level central hallway --- two coats and stripping a wall of four decade old wallpaper, all in record time. They were inevitably cheerful, helpful in moving some heavy furniture, and always punctual. What a pleasure to work with them, a real credit to Williams Professional Painting. You must be very proud to have them on your staff. Best wishes,

The crews were always eager to be sure that the customer was happy with all their work

We needed repairs to drywall and also some carpentry after water damage to our townhouse first floor. Due to insurance delays and issues, the work ended up being done in "spurts" instead of all at once.

Even though we had many delays and stops and starts, WPP were always cheerful to respond and did the work professionally. The crews were always eager to be sure that the customer was happy with all their work. We had a challenging job because our townhouse is over 50 years old, but this was no problem for WPP. The price initially quoted by WPP may be higher than others, but, they seem to build in enough contingency in their fee so that if you encounter any bumps in the road, they have "no problem" responding. That is not true with other painting contractors in our experience. Also, the billing office and owners are available if you have questions and are happy to discuss options or any concerns you might run into. Everyone at WPP was a pleasure to work with. Rare these days!

Exterior Painting at Bull Run Condominiums

Hello,

I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the recent exterior paint job at my condo in the Bull Run, Winstead Place, Manassas, VA. I purchased my bi-level unit last July. While I loved the interior of my place, the exterior left a lot to be desired. The railing was essentially chipped cream and rust and the floor outside our doors paint was pretty much worn off. Much like deck. The top rail was cream but the rest of it was worn unstained wood. I was basically embarrassed to have friends come over due to the outside.

I spoke to “JB” several times during the process. He is extremely pleasant and professional, but moreover his work was excellent! Actually my neighbor texted me to let me know how great the decks looked. It is so nice to come home and not see chipped, rusted or worn looking exterior. I’m going to have my kitchen remodeled, but they don’t handle the painting, so you may be hearing from me soon.

Thank you

We Love Customer Feedback.

Hi Rick-

I just got home this morning from being out of town, and everything looks fantastic! I noticed they even painted the address plate on the front of the house, which I wasn't expecting. Thank you and your folks so much for the great work.

Old Town Crescent Unit Owners Association

This past Friday, March 29, 2013, Williams Professional Painting concluded their work on the interior of our building and the final check has been issued under the contract into which we entered back in February 2012. For purposes of your records and knowing what paint was used, please be advised we used Benjamin Moore “Pale Oak” on the first floor and a custom blend we titled “Nimbus 50%” for floors 2-roof vestibule, also manufactured by Benjamin Moore. Due in part to circumstances beyond our control, the project took longer than expected, but was well worth the wait considering the following five factors that help demonstrate the extra value we received under this contract:

  • the paint class was upgraded to “Aura,” the highest quality available, and wallpaper areas addressed twice, at no extra cost to the Association;
  • the painters worked quietly and on weekends, and Dave Williams even placed himself in harm’s way by photographing an intruder and likely criminal;
  • Dave Williams and his painting staff were professional at all times and exhibited extraordinary amounts of patience in addressing our every concern;
  • Dave Williams acted as a consultant during the paint selection phase and accommodated our many requests to test a multitude of paint samples; and
  • Williams Professional Painting made an inordinate amount of extra trips to our property, which costs the firm time and money, in order to accommodate our preferences, coordinate with our redesign schedule, and paint, repaint and caulk several areas outside the contract scope at no charge to the Association because he was not satisfied.

Given the high level of commitment Williams Professional Painting made to our property, it was considerably important – and fair – that this extra information be imparted to you. The Board anticipates budgeting for “upkeep” painting to keep the common elements as pristine as they look now. While the Board cannot offer an endorsement of a particular contractor to you, I have personally been impressed enough by the perfectionist efforts of Williams Professional Painting to retain them in the near future to paint my private residence and therefore have copied Dave Williams on this message in case you wish to consider him for the same. Although Williams Professional Painting will not be able to offer us a viable solution to paint the exterior elevator doors and entryway cladding on floors 2 – roof vestibule, the Board is engaged in discussions with an elevator specialist who purportedly has the technology to make those surfaces more receptive to paint engineered just to adhere to those challenging types of entryways.

We use Williams several times a year to keep up with our home. Inside or outside they do a great job. This week was a tough job of wallpaper removal and then prime and paint the master bathroom. Dagoberto and Edwin did a great job and were a pleasure to have around all week.

Williams Professional Painting

Hi Milton:

We were very happy with the work done by the crew. They were very careful and thorough. I appreciated that they made sure all the windows opened and locked after they finished. Bryan and Daniel (and Edwin earlier) were great! I've already recommended your company to two families - and will continue to do that if anyone's looking for this type of service. I also appreciated the way the office kept us informed as we went through all the delays due to rain.

Thank you very much for such good service!

Lisa came to visualize the planned project

Dear Mr. Williams,

In December 2014, I arranged for a sizable interior painting project with your company. This was the fourth time that Williams Professional Painting would undertake a job in my home. This recent experience has been completed and was truly an outstanding display of workmanship with the total job a resounding success.

Mr. Rick Williams provided the initial project assessment and estimate which included 3 bedrooms, an office/study, entry foyer, hallway and staircase. As colors were planned to change, Rick suggested we hire Lisa Reyes, your professional interior designer. Lisa came to visualize the planned project and listened to our color ideas and preferences for each room and then brought out her myriad color palates to narrow the selections. Lisa was a sure help! She offered great ideas and suggestions for colors and applications, so that all parties were confident that the right colors were chosen for each location. To assure these selections, Lisa created a 12 by 12 inch sample of each color at her Williams paint studio and then returned for viewing on each wall. Colors were spot on and the project was a go! Shortly thereafter, Lisa called and provided the official start date, time and project manager’s name.

On start date, Bryan and Dagoberto “D2” arrived, introduced themselves and set to work. These two workmen arrived each day on time, even during an icy weather morning, reviewed their plan for the day and set to accomplishing the task. In addition to routine company policy of removing and patching picture hooks, covering all the floors and moving and covering all the furniture, Bryan and D2 showed thorough attention to small details (as removing all switch plates, socket plates, and door knobs prior to painting and then reinstalling); saving all the old picture hangars, and safeguarding some small items. One ceiling area near a skylight required drywall repair. Again D2 showed his craftsmanship with amazing results. You would never realize a repair was there.

Seeing the daily fantastic results and how fresh everything looked resulted in adding another area for painting. While Lisa was on site to see the progress, we asked if a second staircase could be added to this project. She immediately contacted Bryan and D2 to determine if there was sufficient paint and then contacted Rick for a price estimate. All was a go again, and are we ever glad that this added area was able to be painted. What a finishing touch!

Overall, Williams Professional Painting remains one of metro D.C.’s true treasures. Each day allowed us to experience painting expertise; daily work team communication and plan for the next day was appreciated and left no guesswork. Finally, it was such fun to see the painter’s satisfaction in our positive reactions. As repeat customers, the entire Williams’ enterprise is professional, reliable, personable, and thorough and will continue to be my ‘painter of choice’ and the only one I will recommend. Continued success to Williams Professional Painting!

Sincerely,

Jane Mead

The person conducting the estimating work ( Alvis) was extremely professional and knowledgable.

Description Of Work: Painted living room wall and baseboard, den walls, ceiling, baseboards and fixed stains and cracks, dining room baseboard as well as complete foyer where there were cracks and leak marks.
Member Comments:
The person conducting the estimating work ( Alvis) was extremely professional and knowledgable. He was friendly, exactly on time and very responsive in providing the bid. We obtained two bids and while the other was lower we wanted to assure excellent work and since the estimator was able to fully explain why paint that had been put on our front door in the past did not stick (first person to be able to diagnose the problem) we decided that this and their current reputation on Angie's list coupled with their years in service meant that the higher price would likely be worth it - and it was.
The painters arrived on time, were careful to properly move and cover furniture and other items, carefully laid tape to block off areas NOT to be painted and completed the job fully in two days as projected. They were helpful - having a larger crew come the first day to help move some heavy items and the scheduling person readjusted the initial scheduled time as our floor project ran over. The foreman throughout remained in communication on issues and was very responsive to any request I had. Cristian Reyes was the foreman and excellent.
The cost may be higher but I gave it an A as it is worth the money.
