WPP Adds Color & Flair to Ft Belvoir Bowling Alley

Williams Professional Painting was excited to wrap up summer with the Ft. Belvoir Bowling Center project. Completing an initial design concept, prep work, new wall construction, and adding new drywall set the stage for a project that ran smoothly and resulted in a fantastic outcome.

The client requested the use of Williams Professional Painting’s design consultant, Carey, in order to achieve a unique, dramatic, yet cohesive look that would suit the daytime crowds, but also cater to the lively evening patrons. Guiding the client through to initial color palate and then presenting a variety of application options, an overall look was developed and converted into drawings for WPP’s talented crew to implement. Replacing the original carpeted walls with new drywall and applying dramatic horizontal stripes along the alleyways creates a heightened sense of linear interest and color to the bowling lane area. Playing with this design and turning it vertically, patrons experience a variation of the look at the snack bar. The columns sprinkled through the areas deconstruct the original laneway look wrapping the square columns in interesting stripes that allow for a unique design feature rather than the common mundane building element. Juxtaposing the clean strict linear lines, Carey used two complimentary wallpapers that are playful and welcome the perfect alternative pattern. The private party room also embraced a new look with new painted frames around the windows and a wall of dry erase paint – perfect for entertaining kids, corporate meetings, promotional signage, and general fun.
