Happy Labor Day!
Happy Labor Day from your friends at Williams Professional Painting. This holiday signifies many different things. Its origin goes back to 1882 when it was signed into law as a Federal Holiday. This was following some conflicts between various labor unions, government, and private enterprise. The holiday became known as a hat tip to labor organizations and their contribution to American society.
Much has changed since Labor Day became a Federal Holiday. Now Labor Day signifies so much more: the end of Summer, the last day the pool is open, an excuse to bring family together, and for communities to come together.
This Labor Day we wish you well. Whether you're going back to school, sending your kids back to school, or going back to work tomorrow, we all have one thing in common: our American culture. Happy Labor Day to all - enjoy the day off!
